Peace lilies thrive in bright, indirect light and warm, humid conditions making them ideal houseplants. Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged, watering when the top inch of soil is dry. They are dramatic and will droop when thirsty, but usually revive quickly. Avoid direct sun to prevent leaf scorch.

  • Light: Prefers bright, filtered, indirect light, but can tolerate low-light conditions. East or west-facing windows are ideal.
  • Water: Keep soil moist, not soggy. They will droop noticeably when they need water. Use room-temperature, filtered water if possible.
  • Soil: Well-drained, porous potting soil.
  • Humidity & Temperature: Thrives in high humidity (use a pebble tray or humidifier) and temperatures between 65-80 degrees fahrenheit.
Keep away from cold drafts or heating vents.
  • Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced, liquid houseplant fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer.
  • Repotting: Repot every 2–3 years in the spring when the plant becomes crowded.

Troubleshooting & Tips
  • Drooping: Usually indicates the plant is too dry, but can also occur if overwatered (check soil moisture).
  • Brown Tips: Can be caused by underwatering, low humidity, or too many chemicals in tap water.
  • No Blooms: Often caused by too little light. Move to a brighter spot (indirect) to encourage flowering.
  • Toxicity: Peace lilies are toxic to humans and pets if ingested.
  • Cleaning: Regularly wipe leaves with a damp cloth to remove dust.
